Skins: what you're buying, in plain words
Aurora is free. Its skins are for sale: here's how it works, and how to get a refund.
Version of October 2, 2026. The French version governs.
Who sells
Aurora's skins are made by Denis, in Quebec. They're sold through Polar, which acts as the official reseller (merchant of record): Polar takes the payment, calculates and collects your country's taxes, and sends you the receipt. Polar's terms also apply to the payment.
What you're buying
A skin file for Aurora (.auroraskin) to download, and the right to use it on all your PCs, under Aurora's licence (“Skins” section). No subscription, no Aurora account: you pay once.
It works with Aurora 1.0.9 or newer, on Windows 10 and 11. An older Aurora refuses it: updating is free.
Price and payment
The price is shown in Canadian dollars. Your country's taxes are calculated at checkout, and the final amount is shown to you before you pay.
Delivery
Right away: the download link arrives as soon as you pay, by email and in your Polar customer portal, where you can download the file again whenever you like. If I improve a skin, its new version is free for anyone who bought it.
Refunds
If the skin doesn't work for you, or you don't like it, write to me within 30 days of your purchase at contact@auroraapp.ca, with your purchase email address: I'll refund you in full, no questions asked.
The refund goes through Polar, to the payment method you used. This doesn't take away any of the rights your country's law gives you.
Your data
Polar processes your payment; I never see your card. Polar passes your name and email address on to me for the sale: I only use them to answer you or refund you, never for advertising, and I don't give them to anyone. Aurora itself doesn't know who bought what: it only checks that the file is signed.
A question?
